Treats to Eat
Over the years, while I raised a little family, I did my best to provide healthy meals and snacks for us. Now that the kids have grown and left home, I've discovered a healthier raw foods diet. However, I will still share meals and foods here on this 'Treats to Eat' page that are yummy, but that are not necessarily raw. So, this page is designated for favorites that may be processed and cooked, that our family grew up enjoying. For those of you who don't eat raw, enjoy this page and if you are so inclined, do check out my raw foods page too for healthier inspiration. : )
Starting out with only the best from Maine! ; )
This dish is not homemade, but certainly is delish! Guess where?
Have you tried brussel sprouts?! They are very good lightly steamed with buttah and salt.
Veggie soup with whole grain crackers, so warming and yum.
Whole Grain Pasta Salad.....
Fish Fillet Sandwich
Aisan Pad Tai
And of course a little bit of chocolate!
My hubby and I occasionally like to visit Panera. They have good soups and salads.
But nothing beats a homemade salad!
And cranberry nut coffee cake for dessert!
